Yuri is a premium insecticide brought to you by IFFCO-MC, a joint venture between Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative and Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan. It features advanced Japanese technology in a 4.9% Capsule Suspension (CS) formulation.

Unlike older liquid sprays, Yuri uses micro-encapsulation technology. The active ingredient is locked inside tiny protective shells that release the medicine slowly. This ensures effective control against Bollworms, Stem Borers, and Leaf Folders in crops like Cotton, Paddy, and Vegetables. It provides a powerful "knockdown" effect while remaining safe for the crop.

Yuri works through a dual-action mechanism: Contact and Stomach action. It targets the nervous system of the insect.

  1. Exposure: The pest touches the sprayed leaf or eats the treated plant parts. The microcapsules burst, releasing the active ingredient.
  2. Nerve Disruption: The chemical binds to the sodium channels in the insect's nerves, keeping them open. This causes uncontrolled nerve impulses.
  3. Paralysis & Death: The insect initially becomes hyperactive (tremors), then stops feeding, becomes paralyzed, and eventually dies.
