Velzo® uses a sophisticated "Lock and Key" mechanism to manage resistance and ensure total control over Oomycete pathogens.

1. The External Shield (Mancozeb): It creates a protective layer on the leaf surface. When a fungal spore lands, this layer destroys it instantly on contact, preventing it from germinating.
2. The Internal Guard (Valifenalate): This component penetrates the leaf skin and moves inside the tissue (translaminar activity). It stops the fungus from building cell walls, effectively starving the infection from the inside.
3. Resistance Breaker: By using two different methods of attack, Velzo® prevents the disease from developing resistance, keeping your control measures effective season after season.

Note: This systemic reach helps protect the underside of leaves where sprayers might not reach perfectly.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting. Always check the physical product leaflet for the most current regulatory dosage.

• Timing: Apply preventatively. For Grapes, target the "Ponga" stage (3-5 leaf stage). For vegetables, apply when weather is cool and humid, or at the very first sign of disease.
• Mixing: Velzo® is a WG formulation. Pre-mix the granules in a small bucket of water to form a slurry before adding it to the main tank. Maintain agitation.
• Coverage: Ensure thorough coverage of the plant foliage. Use sufficient water volume to reach the point of run-off, covering both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
• Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use. Avoid inhaling spray mist.
