Uchiwa Fungicide: Complete Guide (Tebuconazole 10% + Sulphur 65% WG)

Protect your crops with the dual power of Japanese technology and IFFCO reliability.

Uchiwa is a advanced, broad-spectrum fungicide brought to you by IFFCO-MC. It combines two powerful active ingredients—Tebuconazole and Sulphur—in a modern "Water Dispersible Granule" (WG) formulation. This unique "double-engine" formula doesn't just kill fungus; it also fights mites and provides essential nutrition to your plants, making them greener and healthier.

Why farmers choose itWhy Choose This Product? Key Benefits
  • ⏱️ Triple Action Power: Acts as a preventative shield, a curative medicine, and a mite killer (acaricide) all in one spray.
  • ?️ Dual Mode of Action: Sulphur kills fungus on the leaf surface (Contact), while Tebuconazole enters the plant to kill hidden disease (Systemic).
  • Phytotonic Effect (Greening): The Sulphur content acts as a nutrient, boosting chlorophyll to make leaves greener and plants healthier.
  • ?️ Excellent Rainfastness: The WG formulation absorbs quickly, so it won't wash off easily if it rains a few hours after spraying.
  • ? Dust-Free Safety: Unlike old powders, these granules dissolve instantly in water and don't create toxic dust clouds, making it safer for the user.

Product scienceHow It Works: Mode of Action

Uchiwa uses a "Synergistic" approach, attacking the fungus from both the inside and the outside to prevent resistance.

  1. Contact Action (Sulphur): It creates a toxic zone on the leaf surface. When fungal spores land, the sulphur disrupts their breathing (respiration), killing them instantly.
  2. Systemic Action (Tebuconazole): It is absorbed by the leaf and travels inside the plant (Acropetal movement). It stops the fungus from building its cell walls (Ergosterol inhibition), halting disease spread from within.
  3. Vapor Action: The sulphur component releases a vapor that reaches hidden areas of dense crops, ensuring no pest is left safe.

Note: This multi-site action makes it very difficult for fungi to develop resistance against Uchiwa.

How to applyDosage & Application Guide

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

How to applyDosage per Acre, Litre, & Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)
CropDose (g / Acre)Water (L / Acre)Dose (g / Litre)PHI (Days)
Chilli500 g200 L2.5 g5 Days
Soybean500 g200 L2.5 g26 Days
Domestic Use--2.5 - 3 g-

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting to ensure food safety.

Useful detailsHow to Apply: Best Practices
  • Timing: Apply as a preventive measure (before disease is severe) or at the very first sign of disease symptoms.
  • Mixing (Slurry Method): Do not dump granules directly into the full tank. First, dissolve the granules in a small bucket of water to make a "slurry," then add this to the spray tank.
  • Coverage: Use a Hollow Cone Nozzle to create a fine mist. This ensures the medicine reaches the underside of leaves where mildew hides.
  • Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use. Avoid spraying during strong winds.
