Why farmers choose itWhy Choose This Product? Key Benefits
  • ⏱️ Fast & Effective Action: It quickly stops the weed's ability to process sunlight, killing them from the inside out.
  • ?️ Broad Spectrum Control: One product handles both tough grasses (like Phalaris) and broadleaf weeds (like Bathu) simultaneously.
  • Long-Lasting Protection: It stays active in the soil for 30 to 60 days, preventing new weeds from germinating after you spray.
  • ?️ Unbeatable Value: At roughly ₹160–₹200 per acre for wheat, it is far cheaper than manual weeding labor.
  • ? Dual Power: It is "Ambimobile," meaning it attacks weeds through both their roots (soil) and their leaves (spray).

Product scienceHow It Works: Mode of Action

Tanoshi works by starving the weed. It targets the plant's chloroplasts (the kitchen of the cell).

  1. Absorption: The herbicide is absorbed through the weed's roots (from the soil) and leaves (from the spray).
  2. Blockage: It moves into the plant and blocks the "D1 Protein" in Photosystem II.
  3. Elimination: This stops photosynthesis. The weed can no longer turn sunlight into energy. It turns yellow (chlorosis), dries up, and dies.

Note: Crops like Potato and Sugarcane are safe because they have special enzymes that break down the chemical before it hurts them.

How to applyDosage & Application Guide

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results. Never overdose, especially on sandy soils.

How to applyDosage per Acre, Litre, & Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)
CropDose (g / Acre)Water (L / Acre)Dose (g / Litre)PHI (Days)
Wheat100 g (Med Soil) - 120 g (Heavy Soil)100 - 120 L~1 g120
Potato300 g300 L~1 g30
Sugarcane300 - 400 g300 - 400 L~1 g60
Tomato300 g300 L~1 g30
Soybean200 - 300 g300 L~0.8 g30

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting. Note: Dosage is in Grams (g) because this is a powder.

Useful detailsHow to Apply: Best Practices
  • Timing: For Wheat, apply Post-Emergence (30-35 days after sowing). For Potato/Soybean, apply Pre-Emergence (within 2-4 days of planting).
  • Mixing (The Paste Method): Do not dump the powder directly into the big tank. First, mix the powder in a small bucket with a little water to make a smooth, thin paste. Then add this paste to the main tank.
  • Coverage: Use a "Flat Fan" or "Flood Jet" nozzle. Do not use fine mist nozzles. Agitate (shake) the tank continuously to keep the powder from settling.
  • Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use.
