Why farmers choose itWhy Choose This Product? Key Benefits
  • ⏱️ Dual Action Power: Combines "Systemic" action (absorption into the plant) with "Contact" action to kill pests both on the surface and those hiding inside leaves.
  • ?️ Stops Viral Transmission: By controlling vectors like aphids and whiteflies, it prevents the spread of damaging plant viruses (like Leaf Curl and Mosaic).
  • Long-Lasting Protection: The active ingredient translocates to new plant growth, protecting shoots and buds that develop even after spraying.
  • ?️ Vapor Action: Its unique fumigant property allows vapors to penetrate dense canopies, reaching pests hiding in crevices and curled leaves.
  • ? Mite Control (Acaricide): Unlike many insecticides that cause mite outbreaks, Tafgor effectively controls mites (Red Spider Mite) alongside insects.

Product scienceHow It Works: Mode of Action
  1. Systemic Absorption: When sprayed, Tafgor is absorbed by leaves and stems. It moves upward (acropetally) in the plant sap, turning the plant itself into a "toxic barrier" for pests feeding on sap.
  2. Nervous System Attack: Upon contact or ingestion, the active ingredient inhibits the Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme in the insect's nervous system.
  3. Paralysis & Elimination: The inhibition of this enzyme causes rapid paralysis, cessation of feeding, and death of the pest, preventing further crop damage.

Note: Tafgor also works via vapor action, reaching hidden pests in dense foliage.

How to applyDosage & Application Guide

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

How to applyDosage per Acre, Litre, & Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)
CropDose (ml / Acre)Water (L / Acre)Dose (ml / Litre)PHI (Days)
Cotton / Field Crops250 - 300 ml200 L1.5 ml14 - 21 Days
Vegetables (Brinjal, Okra, Chili)200 - 264 ml150 - 200 L1.5 - 2.0 ml7 - 10 Days
Fruits (Mango / Citrus)Varies by Tree SizeHigh Volume1.5 - 2.5 ml14+ Days

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting.

Useful detailsHow to Apply: Best Practices
  • Timing: Apply in the late afternoon or evening. This reduces evaporation and protects bees (pollinators) which are less active at this time.
  • Mixing: Do NOT mix with alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture or Lime Sulfur, as they destroy the chemical. Check water pH (ideal is 5.5 - 6.0).
  • Coverage: Ensure thorough coverage. For systemic action to work best, the plant must absorb the spray effectively.
  • Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use.
