Simodis targets the nervous system of insects using a unique mechanism that differs from Fipronil or Avermectins. It acts as an "allosteric modulator" on the GABA receptor.

  1. Locking the Door: Think of the insect's nerve channel as a door. Simodis binds to the hinge (allosteric site) and jams it shut, preventing the calming signals (Chloride ions) from entering.

  • Timing: Spray during cool hours (6 AM - 9 AM or 4 PM - 6 PM). Avoid spraying during peak bee activity (mid-day).
  • Mixing: Compatible with neutral fungicides like Amistar Top. Do NOT mix with alkaline Copper fungicides (Bordeaux mixture). Use a pH corrector if water is alkaline.
  • Coverage: Simodis is translaminar but not fully systemic. Use 200 Liters of water per acre with Hollow Cone nozzles to ensure full canopy coverage.
