Sokusai acts as a growth inhibitor. It targets the weed seeds as they attempt to germinate in the treated water.

1. Absorption: The herbicide is rapidly absorbed by the "coleoptile" (the young shoot) of the weed seedling.
2. Inhibition: It blocks the synthesis of Very Long Chain Fatty Acids (VLCFAs), which stops cell division.
3. Termination: The weed seedling stops growing, becomes twisted or swollen, and dies before it can emerge above the water surface.

Note: Sokusai does not kill fully grown weeds. It must be used before weeds emerge.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting.

• Timing: Apply strictly between 0 to 3 Days After Transplanting (DAT). Effectiveness drops after 5 days.
• Mixing: Shake the bottle well. Mix 500ml Sokusai with 20-25kg of dry sand or Urea and broadcast evenly in the field.
• Coverage: Ensure the field has 2-3 inches of standing water. Do not drain or let the field dry for 3-5 days after application.
• Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use.
