Simodis is a revolutionary new insecticide powered by the patented PLINAZOLIN® Technology. It is designed to kill pests that have become resistant to older chemicals. It works by attacking the pest's nervous system (GABA receptors) in a completely new way (IRAC Group 30). It provides broad-spectrum protection against sucking pests (Mites, Thrips, Jassids) and chewing pests (Bollworms, Fruit Borers) in a single spray.

Simodis works on the pest's nervous system in a completely new way:

  1. Contact/Ingestion: The pest touches or eats the chemical.
  2. Receptor Blockade: Isocycloseram binds to the GABA receptor (the nervous system's "brake").
  3. Hyperexcitation: Without the "brake," the nerves fire uncontrollably.
  4. Paralysis & Death: The pest experiences convulsions, stops feeding immediately, and dies within 1-5 days.

Because it binds to a new site, pests resistant to older chemicals cannot survive it.

  • Water Volume: Use at least 200 Litres of water per acre. Good coverage is essential for controlling mites under the leaves.
  • Mixing: This is a DC formulation. Pre-mix the dose in a small bucket of water first, then add to the tank. It mixes easily.
  • Timing: Apply at ETL (when you first see pests). Do not wait for a full outbreak. Avoid spraying in peak heat (12-3 PM).
  • Frequency: Do not use more than 2 times per season. Rotate with other chemicals to prevent resistance.
