Rogor® (Dimethoate 30% EC) by FMC is a powerful, broad-spectrum insecticide that has served Indian farmers for decades. It is famous for its "Red Drum" quality and affordable price. Rogor works in two ways: it kills pests on contact and penetrates the plant to kill hidden insects (systemic action). It is highly effective against Aphids, Jassids, and Mites.

Important Note: As per 2023 government regulations, do not use this product on vegetables consumed raw (like Salad, Tomato, Cucumber) due to residue concerns. Ideally suited for Fiber crops (Cotton) and Cereals.

  1. Systemic Action: When sprayed, the chemical enters the plant through leaves and stems. It travels inside the plant juice (sap). When pests suck this sap, they die.
  2. Contact Action: Insects that are directly hit by the spray die immediately due to nerve paralysis.
  3. Translaminar Movement: The medicine moves from the top of the leaf to the bottom, killing pests like mites hiding underneath.

Mechanism: It inhibits the Cholinesterase enzyme in the insect nervous system, causing paralysis and death.
