Rilon works by targeting the nervous system of the insect. It is a non-systemic insecticide with strong translaminar (penetrating) properties.

1. Ingestion & Binding: When the larva feeds on the treated leaf, the active ingredient binds to nerve receptors, locking chloride channels open.
2. Paralysis: This flood of chloride ions causes the insect's muscles to relax permanently, leading to immediate flaccid paralysis.
3. Control: The pest stops feeding instantly (preventing further crop damage) and dies from starvation within 2 to 4 days.

Note: It also has ovicidal action, meaning it can prevent insect eggs from hatching.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.
