Rekishi works by starving the weed. It inhibits the ALS enzyme, which acts as a "food factory" for essential amino acids. Without these, the weed cannot grow or divide cells.

1. Absorption: The herbicide is rapidly absorbed through the leaves and roots, moving via the plant's vascular system (Xylem and Phloem).
2. Stoppage: Essential amino acid production (Valine, Leucine) stops. The weed stops growing within 48 hours.
3. Elimination: Leaves turn yellow (chlorosis), veins turn purple, and the growing point dies. Complete plant death occurs in 14-21 days.

Note: Wheat plants naturally break down this chemical, making them immune to the spray.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results. Using less water or the wrong nozzle will reduce efficacy.

• Coverage: Use a "Flat Fan" or "Flood Jet" nozzle. Do not use cone nozzles (mist blowers) as they cause drift and poor coverage on grass weeds.
