Prism acts as a "Pro-Drug" precursor to Carbendazim. Here is the step-by-step process:

  1. Absorption: Upon spraying or drenching, the active ingredient is rapidly absorbed by the plant surface (leaves or roots).
  2. Conversion: Once inside the plant, Thiophanate Methyl converts into Carbendazim (MBC), the active fungal killer.
  3. Disruption: It binds to the fungus's tubulin proteins, effectively stopping cell division (mitosis). The fungus cannot grow or reproduce and eventually dies.

Note: This systemic movement protects new leaves that emerge after you spray!
