HPM Power-X Insecticide Overview

HPM Power-X is a suspension concentrate insecticide containing Emamectin Benzoate 1.5% + Fipronil 3.5% SC.

The registered formulation is intended for label-directed control of thrips and fruit borer in chilli. It combines two different insecticide mode-of-action groups and must be used only on the crop, pest, dose and timing stated on the container label or leaflet.

Important: Power-X is not green ammonia, a fertilizer or a plant-growth product. Diagnose the pest correctly before use and do not extend the recommendation to unlisted crops.

  • Use a high-volume knapsack sprayer with hollow-cone nozzle or other label-approved equipment.
  • Measure the formulation and water accurately; maintain uniform coverage.
  • Wear label-specified PPE and keep people and animals out of the treated area for the stated re-entry interval.
  • Avoid use near aquaculture because the formulation is toxic to fish. Do not spray during active bee-foraging periods and avoid bird exposure.
  • Do not mix with another input unless the product labels or a qualified agricultural adviser confirm compatibility.
