Pimix works by targeting the specific enzymes weeds need to grow. It uses a "Systemic" action, meaning it moves inside the plant to kill it from the inside out.

  1. Absorption: The herbicide is quickly absorbed through the weed's leaves and roots.
  2. Inhibition: It blocks the ALS enzyme (Acetolactate Synthase), which stops the production of essential amino acids (Valine, Leucine, Isoleucine).
  3. Termination: Without these amino acids, cell division stops instantly. Weeds turn yellow, stop competing for nutrients, and die completely within 14–21 days.

Note: While death takes time, weed growth stops almost immediately after application.
