Pegasus is a unique broad-spectrum insecticide and miticide known for its powerful "Vapor Action." It turns into a gas after spraying, penetrating dense foliage to kill pests hiding on the undersides of leaves. It stops pests from feeding immediately, causing a "Hidden Knockdown" effect where they starve to death over 3-4 days. It is the gold standard for controlling Whitefly in Cotton and Mites in Chilli.

Best For: Cotton (Whitefly/Jassids), Chilli (Mites/Murda), and Cabbage (DBM).

Pegasus works as a "Pro-Insecticide" that gets activated by sunlight.

  1. Photo-Activation: When sprayed, the active ingredient reacts with UV light (sunlight) on the leaf surface and converts into a toxic carbodiimide compound.
  2. Energy Cut-Off: This activated compound blocks the mitochondria (powerhouse) of the insect cells. The pest runs out of ATP (energy).
  3. Hidden Knockdown: The pest becomes paralyzed immediately and stops eating. It may stay on the leaf looking alive, but it is harmless and will die of starvation in 3-4 days.

Important: Because it needs sunlight to activate, it is best sprayed on bright, sunny days (early morning).

  • Sunlight is Key: Always spray in the early morning on a sunny day. The medicine activates better with sunlight. Avoid spraying on cloudy days.
  • Mixing (WP): This is a Wettable Powder. First, mix the required dose in a small bucket of water to make a thin paste (slurry), then pour it into the spray tank. Stir continuously.
  • Coverage: Use plenty of water (min. 200 Litres/Acre). The vapor action works best when the entire canopy is wet.
  • Safety: Do not inhale the dust while opening the packet. Wear a mask. Do not spray near fish ponds as it is toxic to aquatic life.
