Powered by Diafenthiuron, it turns into a gas (vapor) under sunlight, penetrating deep into curled leaves and flower buds. Pegasus operates on a "Stop-Feed" mechanism. It targets the insect's energy production centers (mitochondria).

  1. Activation: When you spray, the chemical is inactive. Sunlight (UV rays) converts it into a potent toxin (carbodiimide) on the leaf surface.
  2. Paralysis: Upon contact or feeding, the pest's energy supply (ATP) is cut off. The insect becomes paralyzed immediately.
  3. Starvation: Although the pest may remain alive on the leaf for 2-4 days, it is unable to move or feed, causing no further damage to the crop.

Note: Farmers often think the spray "didn't work" because they see live insects the next day. This is normal. If the insect is not moving, the product has worked.

  • Timing: Apply in the morning hours (after dew dries). Sunlight is required to "activate" the chemical on the leaf.
  • Agitation: Since this is a Wettable Powder (WP), it does not dissolve completely. Shake the tank every few minutes while spraying to prevent the powder from settling at the bottom.
  • Coverage: Ensure the undersides of leaves are sprayed. Although the vapor action helps, direct contact is always best for mite control.
  • Safety: Do not wash the spray tank in rivers or ponds. This product is toxic to fish. Wear a mask to avoid inhaling the powder while mixing.
