Oval works by targeting the nervous system of the insect. Once the pest touches the chemical or eats a treated leaf, the active ingredient disrupts nerve signal transmission.

1. Systemic Entry: The powder dissolves and is absorbed by the leaves, entering the plant's system.
2. Enzyme Inhibition: It blocks Acetylcholinesterase (AChE), an enzyme vital for nerve signals.
3. Rapid Control: This causes continuous nerve firing, leading to paralysis and the death of the pest.
