2. Is it safe for Calcium Nitrate?
NO. Never mix Silicon with Calcium Nitrate. It creates an insoluble stone (Calcium Silicate) that clogs everything.
3. Will it kill insects?
It is not a poison. It works by making the leaves tough. Insects break their teeth/stylets trying to feed and eventually leave or starve.
4. Can I use it on seedlings?
Yes, but use a lower dose (1 ml/L). It helps seedlings establish strong roots and resist transplant shock.
