Neon works by cutting off the energy supply of the mite. It is a Mitochondrial Electron Transport Inhibitor (METI).

1. Contact & Entry: The chemical rapidly penetrates the mite's body and the leaf surface (translaminar action) to reach hiding pests.
2. Energy Blockade: It binds to Complex I in the mitochondria (the "powerhouse" of the cell), instantly stopping the production of ATP (energy).
3. Paralysis & Death: Without energy, the mite becomes paralyzed, stops feeding immediately, and dies shortly after. It also sterilizes adult females so they cannot lay viable eggs.
