Lambda-Cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid sodium-channel modulator. After a target insect contacts treated surfaces or ingests treated plant material, the active ingredient disrupts normal nerve signalling. This produces nervous-system hyperexcitation, paralysis and death.

1. Exposure: Activity occurs through contact and ingestion; this is not a systemic insecticide.
2. Target site: Lambda-Cyhalothrin modulates voltage-gated sodium channels in the insect nervous system.
3. Resistance stewardship: Avoid repeatedly exposing successive pest generations to Group 3A. Where local guidance and each product label allow, rotate with a different effective IRAC group. Rotation does not mean tank mixing.

The physical label supplied with the pack is controlling. Do not extend these claims to another crop, pest, formulation or concentration.

The values below are presented per hectare because that is how the current Government of India registered-use table states them. There is no universal millilitre-per-litre rate: spray concentration changes with the prescribed product rate and total spray-water volume.

• Confirm the use: Match the crop and pest to the supplied label before opening the container. Apply when the pest reaches the locally recommended economic threshold.
• Measure accurately: Base the quantity on the labelled area rate. Calibrate the sprayer to deliver the specified total water volume with even coverage.
• Do not improvise a tank mix: Do not combine with another pesticide, fertilizer or adjuvant unless the supplied label and competent local guidance explicitly support it.
• Protect people: Wear label-required protective clothing while measuring, mixing and spraying. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mouth, and avoid breathing spray mist.
• Protect non-target organisms: Lambda-Cyhalothrin is highly hazardous to aquatic organisms and bees. Prevent drift and runoff into water, and do not expose actively foraging bees.
• After use: Wash exposed skin and contaminated clothing, keep the product locked in its original labelled container, and dispose of the empty container exactly as the label and local rules require. Never reuse it.
