Kitazin attacks fungal pathogens on two fronts, making it difficult for the disease to develop resistance.

1. Stops Wall Building (Chitin Inhibition): It inhibits the enzyme chitin synthase. This prevents the fungus from building its protective outer shell (cell wall), stopping mycelial growth and spore germination.
2. Blocks Membrane Function (Phospholipid Inhibition): It interferes with the synthesis of phospholipids. Without these, the fungal cell membrane leaks and collapses, leading to cell death.
3. Systemic Translocation: Once applied, it enters the plant's xylem (water tubes) and moves upward, protecting leaves and stems that weren't even directly sprayed.

Note: Because it is an Organophosphate, it also has a toxic effect on the nervous system of insects, providing incidental control of plant hoppers.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

• Coverage: Use a high water volume (200 Litres/acre) to ensure thorough coverage, especially for fruit crops and dense paddy canopies.
• Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use. Avoid applying on sensitive legume crops like peas.
