HerbicidesHPM Khaleesi is a selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide containing Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% w/w EC.
It is registered for label-listed grassy weeds in soybean, black gram, onion, cotton and groundnut. Khaleesi belongs to HRAC/WSSA Group 1 and works by inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase). Apply only at the crop-specific rate and timing on the supplied label.
Quizalofop-ethyl is taken up by the leaves of susceptible grassy weeds and moves to actively growing tissue. It inhibits ACCase, an enzyme required for fatty-acid production and new growth. This action is selective in the approved broadleaf crops when the product is used exactly as labelled. HPM notes that affected weeds may show colour change before growth stops; response speed varies with weed stage and field conditions, so performance should not be described as instant or guaranteed.
