Judo Plus attacks the central nervous system of the insect. It is a "Type II Pyrethroid," which means it is chemically designed to be more potent and last longer on the insect's nerves than older chemicals.

  1. Contact & Entry: When sprayed, the lipophilic (oil-loving) formula rapidly penetrates the insect's outer shell (cuticle).
  2. Nerve Disruption: It binds to the Sodium Channels in the insect's nerve cells, keeping them open. This causes massive over-firing of nerve signals.
  3. Paralysis & Death: The insect initially becomes hyperactive (tremors), then quickly becomes paralyzed, stops feeding, and dies from starvation or nervous failure.

Note: It also has a strong "Anti-feedant" property, meaning pests avoid treated crops because the chemical irritates them.
