HPM Hivet Sulphur 80% WDG Fungicide Overview

HPM Hivet is a micronised Sulphur 80% WDG fungicide designed for preventive crop-disease management. It is a non-systemic contact and protectant product with contact and vapour action.

The manufacturer lists Hivet for powdery mildew in grapes, cowpea, guar, pea, cumin, mango and wheat, and for scab in apple. Use it only on a crop and disease named on the current product label and follow every pack direction.

Hivet remains on treated plant surfaces rather than moving systemically through the crop. Its sulphur particles act by contact and through vapour activity. Because it is a protectant, timely application and complete, even coverage are important. FRAC places sulphur in the M02 multi-site group; follow the label and local resistance-management advice when planning a spray programme.

  • Apply only to a label-listed crop and disease at the stated rate and water volume.
  • Use clean water, calibrated equipment and thorough coverage suitable for a contact protectant.
  • HPM advises avoiding mixtures with oils because of phytotoxicity risk. Do not assume compatibility with EC formulations, horticultural oils, fertilisers or other pesticides; check both labels and obtain qualified advice.
  • Wear the personal protective equipment specified on the label. Avoid inhalation, skin and eye contact, spray drift and contamination of food, feed or water.
  • Observe the label's re-entry, harvest, storage, disposal and emergency instructions.
