HitBac acts as a Mitotic Inhibitor. It does not kill existing weeds; instead, it prevents new weeds from ever coming up.

1. The Barrier: Upon spraying, HitBac creates a thin chemical film on the soil surface.
2. The Trap: As weed seeds germinate, their emerging roots and shoots touch this treated layer.
3. The Stop: The active ingredient stops cell division in the weed, causing it to die before it can emerge above ground.
