HPM Hindustan M-45 Mancozeb 75% WP Fungicide

HPM Hindustan M-45 is a broad-spectrum, protective contact fungicide containing Mancozeb 75% WP. Its registered recommendations cover specified fungal diseases in selected field and horticultural crops when used according to the current product label.

Mancozeb is a dithiocarbamate multi-site fungicide classified in FRAC Group M03. It remains on the treated plant surface and provides protective activity at multiple fungal biochemical sites. Multi-site activity is associated with a low resistance risk, but it does not mean resistance is impossible or that label directions can be ignored.

Product scienceHow It Works

Hindustan M-45 remains on treated plant surfaces and acts preventively at multiple fungal biochemical sites. Thorough, label-directed coverage is important for a contact fungicide. HPM also reports manganese and zinc as components of Mancozeb; the product should not be treated as a substitute for a crop-specific nutrient programme.

Useful detailsHow to Apply
  • Use only on a crop–disease combination listed on the current label.
  • Measure the crop-specific formulation rate and water volume shown on the label, then apply with suitable calibrated equipment.
  • As a contact fungicide, uniform coverage of the intended plant surface is important.
  • Do not add a sticker, spreader or another pesticide based only on website information. HPM states that Mancozeb is incompatible with oxidising agents or acids.
