Hacker works by creating a chemical barrier on the soil surface. It attacks weeds at the cellular level before they can grow.

1. Absorption: The herbicide is absorbed rapidly through the shoot (coleoptile) of the germinating weed.
2. Disruption: It stops the production of Very Long Chain Fatty Acids (VLCFAs), which are essential for cell growth and division.
3. Selective Safety: While weeds die, the rice plant uses the added Safener to break down the chemical, keeping the crop healthy.

Note: This product is preventative. It must be applied before weeds emerge.
