  1. Stops Growth (Lipid Inhibition): The Quizalofop component is absorbed by grass leaves. It blocks lipid synthesis, destroying the weed's ability to build new cells. Grasses stop growing and dry up.
  2. Starves the Weed (Protein Inhibition): The Imazethapyr component moves through the plant to the roots. It halts the production of essential amino acids, starving the weed from the inside.
  3. Kills the Roots: Unlike contact sprays, Hachiman travels down to the tubers and rhizomes, making it effective against stubborn sedges like Cyperus rotundus (Motha).
