Goal uses the power of sunlight to destroy weeds. It does not travel to the roots but kills the plant tissue it touches.

1. Contact & Absorption: You spray Goal on the weeds or soil. The chemical sticks to the leaves or forms a film on the ground.
2. Light Activation: The active ingredient (Oxyfluorfen) blocks a specific enzyme. When the sun hits the plant, it triggers a reaction that creates "Singlet Oxygen."
3. Cell Destruction: This reactive oxygen destroys the weed's cell membranes. The weed dries up (desiccates) and dies within 2-4 days of sunlight exposure.

Note: Because it works with light, symptoms appear faster on sunny days.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results. Overdosing can burn your crop.

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting.

• Timing (Onion): Apply 2-3 days before transplanting (Pre-plant) OR 15-20 days after transplanting (Post-emergence). Never spray when onion is in the "crook" or "flag leaf" stage.
• Mixing: Mix the required dose in a small amount of water first, then add to the main tank. Agitate well.
• Coverage: Use Flat Fan nozzles for uniform soil coverage. Ensure sufficient soil moisture for the chemical barrier to work.
• Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not spray near fish ponds.
