Flock is a Melanin Biosynthesis Inhibitor (MBI). It acts as an "Anti-Penetrant," protecting the plant like a shield.

1. Blocks Melanin: It inhibits the enzyme reductase, preventing the fungus from producing melanin in its attack cell (appressorium).
2. Stops Pressure Build-up: Without melanin, the fungus cannot generate the hydraulic pressure needed to punch through the tough rice leaf surface.
3. Starves the Fungus: Unable to penetrate the plant to feed, the fungus dies on the surface, keeping your crop safe.

Note: Because it stops entry, it is most effective when applied before severe disease sets in.

The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results.

*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting.

• Timing (Neck Blast): Apply at Late Booting / Early Heading (before panicles fully emerge) for best results. If the neck is already rotten, it is too late.
• Mixing: Flock is a Wettable Powder. Mix the required quantity in a small amount of water first to make a slurry, then add to the main tank. Keep agitated.
• Coverage: Use 200 Liters of water per acre. Good coverage of the leaf sheath and emerging panicle is critical.
• Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use. Avoid inhaling the dust during mixing.
