ADAMA Emek Wheat Herbicide Overview

ADAMA Emek contains Clodinafop-Propargyl 9% + Metribuzin 20% WP. It is a selective post-emergence wheat herbicide that combines grass control with activity on the specified broadleaf weed complex, including resistant Phalaris minor populations described by the manufacturer.

Use note: Wheat only. Apply 600 g/ha in 300 L water/ha once, at about 35 days after sowing when weeds are at the 3–4-leaf stage. Observe the 120-day PHI and 24-hour re-entry period.

Clodinafop-propargyl inhibits ACCase in susceptible grass weeds, stopping new leaf and root growth. Metribuzin inhibits photosystem II in susceptible broadleaf and grass weeds. Growth stops after treatment and visible weed death develops over the following two to three weeks.

How to applyApplication Guide
  • Scout the field and apply once around 35 DAS when the labelled weeds are at the 3–4-leaf stage.
  • Prepare a smooth WP slurry, add it to the partly filled tank and maintain agitation.
  • Use a flat-fan or flood-jet nozzle calibrated for 300 L water/ha and spray uniformly.
  • Do not apply during rain, strong wind or excessive heat; observe the 120-day PHI.

  • Wear label-specified protective equipment and avoid breathing WP dust or spray mist.
