Godrej Agrovet Elpida Insecticide Overview

Godrej Agrovet Elpida contains Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG. It provides translaminar leaf activity with contact and ingestion exposure, and is especially effective against susceptible early-stage lepidopteran larvae.

Use note: Use only the crop–pest rate, water volume and PHI on the current Indian label. For the stocked okra SKU, confirm the rate printed on the physical pack if it differs from an online table.

Product scienceHow Elpida Works

Emamectin benzoate activates glutamate-gated chloride channels in susceptible pests, disrupting nerve and muscle function. Feeding stops rapidly, followed by paralysis and death. Treating early larval stages and obtaining lower-leaf coverage improves results.

How to applyApplication Guide
  • Begin at early larval infestation or the label treatment threshold; avoid waiting for severe crop damage.
  • Premix the measured granules, add to the partly filled tank and maintain agitation.
  • Spray foliage, leaf undersides and fruiting zones uniformly with the crop-specific water volume.
  • Rotate with an effective insecticide outside IRAC Group 6 and observe the stated PHI.

  • Keep spray, runoff and wash water away from waterways and aquaculture.
