ADAMA Eliwid Maize Herbicide Overview

ADAMA Eliwid contains Topramezone 336 g/L SC. It is a selective systemic post-emergence herbicide for young grassy and broadleaf weeds in maize. The label specifies a methylated seed oil adjuvant to support uptake.

Use note: Maize only. Apply 75–100 ml/ha with methylated seed oil at 2 ml/L in 375 L water/ha when weeds are young. Do not add atrazine unless the current Eliwid pack explicitly directs the tank mix.

Topramezone inhibits 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD). Susceptible weeds cannot form protective pigments, causing new growth to bleach, stop and die. Systemic movement helps act on growing points after foliar uptake.
