IFFCO-MC Egao contains Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG. It provides translaminar activity with contact and ingestion exposure, rapidly stopping feeding by susceptible early-stage caterpillars and acting on selected thrips and mites.

Product scienceHow Egao Works

Emamectin benzoate activates glutamate-gated chloride channels in susceptible insects, disrupting nerve and muscle function. Feeding stops rapidly, followed by paralysis and death. Early larval treatment and full lower-leaf coverage improve control.

How to applyApplication Guide
  • Begin at early larval infestation or the label threshold and target the most susceptible stages.
  • Premix the measured granules, add to the partly filled tank and maintain agitation.
  • Cover leaf undersides and crop fruiting zones uniformly at the crop-specific water volume.
  • Rotate with an effective insecticide outside IRAC Group 6 and observe the stated PHI.
