Product scienceHow Durion Works

Diuron is absorbed mainly through roots and moves upward in susceptible plants. It binds at the photosystem II D1 protein and interrupts electron transport, stopping photosynthesis. Young weeds then yellow and die. A uniform treated soil layer and adequate activation moisture are important for reliable control.

How to applyApplication Guide
  • Prepare a smooth WP slurry in a small volume of water, add it to the partly filled tank and maintain agitation.
  • Apply uniformly to properly prepared soil at the crop-specific pre- or early post-emergence timing.
  • Use rainfall or irrigation only as directed to activate the treated soil layer; avoid disturbing that layer after application.
  • Calibrate the sprayer to the stated water volume and prevent drift, overlap and runoff.
