ADAMA Doxagan Insecticide Overview

ADAMA Doxagan contains Indoxacarb 14.5% SC. It controls susceptible lepidopteran larvae through contact and ingestion and is registered for specific pests in cotton, tomato, pigeon pea, cabbage and chilli.

Use note: Start treatment only after the economic threshold is crossed. Use the exact crop–pest rate, water volume, PHI, 48-hour re-entry period and two-application maximum on the current pack.

Indoxacarb is bioactivated inside susceptible insects and blocks voltage-dependent sodium channels. Feeding and movement stop, followed by paralysis and death. Good foliar coverage and timely application against early larval stages improve control.

How to applyApplication Guide
  • Monitor the crop and spray only when the label treatment threshold is reached.
  • Premix the measured SC, add it to the partly filled tank and spray uniformly with a hollow-cone nozzle.
  • Target young larvae and obtain thorough canopy coverage in clear, calm weather.
  • Observe the 48-hour re-entry period, crop-specific PHI and maximum two applications per crop cycle.

  • Wear full label-specified protective equipment and avoid breathing spray mist.
  • Toxic to fish and aquatic organisms; keep spray, runoff and wash water away from ponds and aquaculture.
