IIL Dominant Insecticide Overview

Dominant from Insecticides (India) Limited contains Dinotefuran 20% SG. This neonicotinoid insecticide moves systemically through treated plants and also provides translaminar coverage, helping control labelled sucking pests when applied at the correct threshold.

Use note: Registered crop–pest uses in this listing are paddy brown planthopper and cotton whitefly, jassids, aphids and thrips. Do not extend the use to other crops or pests. Follow the current pack label when it differs.

Product scienceHow Dominant Works

Dinotefuran acts on insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, disrupting nerve transmission. Susceptible pests stop feeding and die after contact with or ingestion of treated plant material. Because it belongs to IRAC Group 4A, repeated treatments from the same group should be avoided across successive pest generations.
