Cartap is a nereistoxin analogue classified in IRAC Group 14. It blocks the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor channel in target insects, disrupting nerve signalling. Rotate with suitable label-approved products from different IRAC groups as part of an integrated resistance-management programme.

The approved-label copy specifies up to three applications at 15-day intervals beginning 10 days after transplanting.
