InsecticidesParijat Daita Pyriproxyfen 10% EC Insect Growth Regulator
Parijat Daita contains Pyriproxyfen 10% EC. It is an insect growth regulator used as a foliar spray against the label-listed sucking pests in cotton, brinjal, okra and chilli.
Pyriproxyfen is not a broad-spectrum solution for every crop or insect. Apply it at the early stage of infestation and follow the current Daita label for the crop, pest, interval and safety instructions.

7 topicsWhy farmers choose itWhy Choose Daita?
- Growth-regulation mode: Pyriproxyfen acts through the juvenile-hormone pathway and interferes with egg development, nymphal metamorphosis and adult emergence.
- Whitefly-focused fit: Whitefly is label-listed in all four approved crops.
- Additional crop-specific pests: Jassids are listed in brinjal and okra, while aphids are listed in chilli.
- Early-infestation timing: Parijat advises application when the population is still low and nymphs are present on the underside of leaves.
- Verified pack range: Parijat lists 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre and 5 litre packs.

Product scienceHow Daita Works
- Juvenile-hormone signal: Pyriproxyfen mimics the insect juvenile-hormone pathway.
- Development disruption: It suppresses embryogenesis, egg hatch, nymphal development and normal adult emergence in susceptible pests.
- Population management: The effect develops through the pest life cycle; Daita should not be described as an instant adult knockdown product.
For resistance management, follow the current label and local advice. Do not mix Daita with another pesticide, fertilizer or adjuvant unless the label expressly permits that mixture.

Parijat advises an interval of at least 10–15 days between the first and second spray and no more than two sprays in a crop. The current Daita label remains controlling.
The CIB dose is expressed per hectare. This page does not create an assistant-derived per-acre, per-litre, cap, spoon or tank dose.
Useful detailsHow to Apply
- Mix the label dose in about one-quarter of the required clean water while agitating.
- Add the remaining water with continuous agitation and ensure the formulation is fully dispersed.
- Apply as a uniform foliar spray, covering the underside of leaves where whitefly nymphs are commonly found.
- Apply early in the infestation, preferably during the cooler morning or evening period stated by Parijat.
- Do not spray during strong wind or rain, and prevent drift and contamination of water bodies.
