Syngenta Cuman L Ziram 27% SC Contact Fungicide

Ziram acts on multiple fungal processes at the treated plant surface. FRAC places dithiocarbamates such as ziram in multi-site Group M03. Cuman L should therefore be described as a contact, protective fungicide, not as systemic or curative.

Because contact protection depends on the treated surface, obtain complete and even leaf coverage. Follow label and local expert resistance-management guidance; multi-site classification does not justify a claim that resistance is impossible.

PHI means pre-harvest interval. The label specifies a 24-hour re-entry period and a maximum of two sprays. Do not invent a universal per-litre rate from these dose and water ranges.

• Timing: Apply as a foliar spray when the registered disease first appears, preferably in the morning or evening.
• Coverage: Use the crop-appropriate label rate and water volume to obtain uniform coverage.
• Application limit: Do not exceed two sprays.
• No tank mixing: The current label says not to tank-mix Cuman L with any other chemical.
• Weather and crop stage: Do not spray during wind, hot hours, on wet foliage, when rain is imminent, at crop maturity or immediately before harvest.

Wear full protective clothing, chemical-resistant gloves, mask, goggles, hat and boots. Avoid skin, eye, mouth and inhalation exposure, and wash thoroughly after application. Keep livestock away and do not graze newly treated areas. Prevent drift or runoff into water and avoid conditions that may harm bees, fish, birds, earthworms or livestock. Store sealed in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight, food, feed and children; do not allow the product to freeze. No specific antidote is stated. Seek medical attention and provide symptomatic and supportive treatment after suspected exposure; do not induce vomiting unless a physician directs it.
