Nichino Crozin is a selective systemic herbicide containing Atrazine 50% WP. Atrazine is a triazine herbicide in HRAC/WSSA Group 5 that inhibits photosynthesis at photosystem II in susceptible weeds.

Nichino's current Crozin page lists specific broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize and sugarcane. Use only the crop, target weed, formulation rate, timing, water volume and precautions on the current physical Crozin label. Do not extend this use to sorghum or another crop from a generic Atrazine webpage.

Nichino describes Crozin as principally absorbed through roots. Atrazine binds at photosystem II in susceptible weeds and interrupts normal photosynthetic electron transport. The HRAC code supports resistance-management planning, but it does not authorise an unlisted crop, rate, weed or timing. Another Atrazine 50% WP product remains Group 5 and is a same-active substitute rather than a different-mode rotation.
