Corteva Coreon is a systemic, broad-spectrum pre-emergence herbicide developed for weed management in transplanted rice. It combines Butachlor 38.83% with Penoxsulam 0.97%. The current Government registered-use table describes the corresponding formulation as Penoxsulam 0.97% w/w + Butachlor 38.8% w/w SE; this small decimal difference reflects the way the formulation is stated across official records. Coreon is intended for label-listed grasses, sedges and broadleaf weeds during the early crop-establishment period. Corteva states an application window of 0-7 days after transplanting. Use only in the crop, dose, water volume and timing stated on the current Indian label.
