Rallis Contaf Plus is a suspension-concentrate fungicide containing Hexaconazole 5% SC. Hexaconazole is a systemic triazole demethylation-inhibitor (DMI) fungicide in FRAC Group 3. The coherent Indian registered-use rows retained for this formulation cover powdery mildew in mango and grapes.

Hexaconazole inhibits sterol biosynthesis through the DMI target site. FRAC generally recognises cross-resistance within Group 3 and rates the group as medium risk, so another Group 3 fungicide should not automatically be treated as a different-mode-of-action rotation partner. Follow the label and a locally appropriate resistance-management programme.
