Lambda-Cyhalothrin is an IRAC Group 3A sodium-channel modulator. It disrupts normal nerve-signal transmission in susceptible insects after label-directed exposure. The Government of India formulation label describes Lambda-Cyhalothrin 2.5% EC as having contact, stomach and residual activity.

A mode-of-action group describes the biochemical target; it does not guarantee control. Correct pest identification, treatment timing, coverage, calibrated equipment and resistance stewardship remain essential. The product is not described here as systemic, and no universal preventive-use claim is made.

• Confirm the crop, target pest and economic need before opening the pack. Do not use Cheetah as an automatic calendar spray.
• Measure the treated area accurately. Follow the current pack for spray-water volume, crop and pest stage, equipment, nozzle, number of applications, re-entry and PHI.

• Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew while handling the product.
• Prevent spray drift, runoff and contamination of ponds, drains, wells, irrigation channels and aquaculture. Avoid exposing people, animals, bees and other non-target organisms.
• Store locked in the original labelled container, away from children, food, feed and medicines. Never reuse an empty pesticide container.
• If exposure or poisoning is suspected, follow the pack's first-aid directions, obtain medical help promptly and show the label. Do not invent or self-administer an antidote.
