1. Chlorpyrifos Group 1B action: inhibits acetylcholinesterase, disrupting normal nerve-signal regulation in susceptible insects.
2. Cypermethrin Group 3A action: modulates voltage-gated sodium channels, disturbing normal nerve impulse transmission.
3. Resistance stewardship: Chandika exposes pests to Groups 1B and 3A together. If another treatment is justified, choose a separately applied product with a different effective IRAC group whose own Indian label covers the crop and target pest.

Nichino's webpage and the Government of India formulation table assign the same numerical quantities to different land-area units. Do not derive a per-acre, per-hectare, per-litre, pump or pack-coverage rate from this page. The current physical Chandika label must be checked before any numerical application direction is used.

• Confirm the crop, target pest and current label direction before opening the pack. Do not use Chandika as a general preventive spray.
• Measure the treated area and crop-specific formulation quantity accurately. Use clean, calibrated foliar-spray equipment and the required water volume.
• Do not transfer the cotton rate, water volume or PHI to paddy, and do not estimate coverage from pack size alone.
• Do not use on Ber, Citrus or Tobacco. Do not extend the page to generic vegetables, fruits, pulses or “all crops.”
