1. Group 40 target: current FRAC material links CAA fungicides to inhibition of cellulose synthesis in oomycete pathogens.

Dimethomorph is not a sterol-biosynthesis inhibitor. It should not be described as one even though older wording remains on the manufacturer webpage. Use the current FRAC Group 40 mechanism statement.

These are the hectare directions displayed on Parijat's official Brillar page. Do not convert them into a universal grams-per-litre, pump, acre or pack-coverage claim. The current physical Brillar label is the final authority if it differs.

• Parijat directs users to first mix the recommended dose in a small amount of water, stir well, then add the remaining recommended water while maintaining agitation.
• Apply a uniform spray over the foliage with the label-specified equipment. Parijat lists a knapsack sprayer on its product page.
• Parijat states that Brillar should be applied immediately when disease symptoms appear. FRAC generally prefers preventive use of CAA fungicides; follow the timing printed on the current Indian pack and local authorised advice.
• Do not use the grape PHI for potato or the potato PHI for grapes. Observe the crop-specific interval in the table and any stricter current pack direction.
• This page makes no tank-mix, simultaneous-use or compatibility recommendation. Do not combine Brillar with another input unless the current physical label or an authorised local recommendation explicitly permits that exact mixture.
• Wear the PPE stated on the current label. Keep the product in its original labelled container, away from food, feed, medicines, children and animals, and prevent spray liquid or washings from entering water bodies.

Dimethomorph, Mandipropamid, Iprovalicarb, Benthiavalicarb and Valifenalate are all within FRAC Group 40 and exhibit cross-resistance within the CAA group. Switching from Brillar to another Dimethomorph 50% WP brand is a same-group substitute, not a mode-of-action rotation.

If a further treatment is justified, select a separately applied product from a genuinely different FRAC group only when its own current Indian label covers the crop, disease and treatment window. Follow that product's individual dose, water volume, PHI and use limits. This guidance does not instruct simultaneous use.
