Borzok 3X - Chlorantraniliprole 0.4% + Fipronil 0.6% + Clothianidin 1.00% w/w GR - Parijat
Borzok 3X Granular Insecticide by Parijat
Chlorantraniliprole 0.4% + Fipronil 0.6% + Clothianidin 1.00% w/w GR.
Paddy targets: Yellow stem borer, leaf folder, gall midge and whorl
maggot.
Sugarcane targets: Early shoot borer, termite and white grub.
Application: Granular field broadcasting with sand or fertilizer, not a foliar
spray.
Why Choose This Product? Key Benefits
-
🌾 Paddy pest protection: Targets four named
pests: yellow stem borer, leaf folder, gall midge and whorl maggot.
-
🌱 Sugarcane borer and soil-pest control: Covers early shoot borer, termite and white grub in the sugarcane programme.
-
⚖️ Field-broadcast granules: The area-based
granule dose is distributed with sand or fertilizer, without preparing a foliar spray dilution.

Borzok 3X by Parijat |
| Technical Name |
Chlorantraniliprole 0.4% + Fipronil 0.6% + Clothianidin 1.00% w/w |
| IRAC MoA Code |
Chlorantraniliprole: 28; fipronil: 2B; clothianidin: 4A |
| Chemical Group |
Diamide; phenylpyrazole (fiprole); neonicotinoid, respectively |
| Formulation |
GR: granules for field broadcasting with sand or fertilizer |
How It Works: Mode of Action
-
Chlorantraniliprole: muscle function: Group 28 acts on ryanodine receptors, which control calcium release inside muscle cells.
Disrupted calcium control interferes with normal insect muscle function.
-
Fipronil: nerve regulation: Group 2B blocks GABA-gated chloride channels, disturbing the nerve-control pathway that helps regulate
insect activity.
-
Clothianidin: nerve messages: Group 4A acts at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, a different site in the insect nervous
system.
Consider all three IRAC groups when planning later pest-management choices. A premix does not prevent
resistance by itself, and a different brand may contain one of the same active ingredients.

Method & First Timing |
PHI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paddy — yellow stem borer, leaf folder, gall midge and whorl maggot |
3 kg/acre |
No spray dilution; use sand or fertilizer as the carrier |
Method: Mix with the carrier and broadcast uniformly First timing: 15–25 days after transplanting |
58 days |
| Sugarcane — early shoot borer, termite and white grub |
4 kg/acre |
No spray dilution; use sand or fertilizer as the carrier |
Method: Mix with the carrier and broadcast uniformly First timing: From planting up to the first irrigation |
156 days |
Sugarcane’s second application window is 70–90 days after planting or at earthing-up. Follow the supplied label
for the programme and leave the full 156-day interval after the last application. PHI is the minimum time from the last application to
harvest, not the duration of pest control.
How to Apply: Best Practices
-
Check the crop calendar: For paddy, count 15–25 days from transplanting, not nursery sowing. For sugarcane, plan around planting,
first irrigation and earthing-up.
-
Measure the field: Weigh the insecticide for the treated acreage before adding a carrier. Carrier weight is separate from the
product dose.
-
Prepare with a carrier: Use sand or fertilizer and the carrier quantity and mixing procedure specified on the supplied pack.
-
Broadcast uniformly: Spread the mixture evenly over the intended field area. Keep this granular application separate from a foliar
spray, seed treatment or spray-tank recipe.
-
Check field conditions: Follow the label’s soil-moisture, irrigation and water-management requirements before and after
broadcasting.
-
Record applications: Record the crop, date and treated area so the final application date and harvest interval remain clear.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I dissolve Borzok 3X for a spray pump?
No. This GR formulation is for field broadcasting with sand or fertilizer. It is not a water-dispersible WG
spray formulation.
2. How much do I use in paddy or sugarcane?
Use 3 kg/acre in paddy for the listed four pests, or 4 kg/acre in sugarcane for early shoot borer, termite
and white grub. Keep the crop, dose and timing together.
3. When is the first application?
For paddy, apply 15–25 days after transplanting. For sugarcane, the first window runs from planting up to
the first irrigation; the second is 70–90 days after planting or at earthing-up.
4. How long must I wait before harvest?
Allow at least 58 days after the last paddy application or 156 days after the last sugarcane application. A
later sugarcane treatment must still leave the full harvest interval.
5. Does mixing with fertilizer allow another insecticide to be added?
No. Sand or fertilizer is a distribution carrier in this application. That direction does not establish
compatibility or permission to add another pesticide. Follow the supplied pack for the carrier quantity and preparation.
Safety & Disclaimer
Before you use it: Read the current Borzok 3X label and leaflet before measuring, mixing or
broadcasting. Follow their protective-equipment, re-entry, environmental, storage, first-aid and disposal
requirements.
Avoid skin and eye contact and keep granules, spills and runoff away from water sources, food and feed.
Keep the product in its original container away from children and animals. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling, and wash
after work.
Observe crop-specific harvest restrictions. If exposure or illness occurs, obtain medical help and show the
product label. A granular formulation or fertilizer carrier does not make an insecticide harmless.
