2. Reserve-energy use is disrupted: the manufacturer states that this interferes with reserve-energy supply and spore germination.
3. Disease development is restricted: Nichino positions Blightwar for curative use after sheath-blight incidence in paddy.

FRAC retains Validamycin in the U18 group and describes the detailed mode of action as unknown, so the proposed mechanism must not be presented as a guaranteed or complete account of every biological effect.

The checked Nichino page does not state a universal water volume, ml/L rate, PHI, re-entry interval, spray count or repeat interval. Do not infer any of those values. The current physical Blightwar label and leaflet are the final authority.

• Confirm paddy, sheath blight and the 400-500 ml/acre direction on the current physical Blightwar pack before use.
• Measure the treated area accurately. Do not calculate a pump or per-litre dose without the label's matching water-volume direction.
• Follow the physical label for timing, mixing order, agitation, equipment, nozzle, repeat-use limit, re-entry, PHI, first aid and every local restriction.
