HPM Bindass: Product Overview
HPM Bindass contains Tricyclazole 75% WP, a systemic wettable-powder fungicide registered in India for the management of blast in paddy (rice).
Tricyclazole belongs to the triazolobenzothiazole chemical family. FRAC classifies it as Group 16.1, an MBI-R fungicide that inhibits the reductase step in fungal melanin biosynthesis. It must not be described as MBI-D, which is a separate FRAC 16.2 group.
HPM's current Bindass page gives a brand recommendation of 120-160 g per acre in 200 litres of water per acre with a 30-day waiting period. The Government of India major-use table gives 300-400 g formulation per hectare in 500 litres of water per hectare and the same 30-day PHI. Both official area-based directions are shown below without inventing a universal grams-per-litre dose.
