1. Melanin-pathway targeting: the rice blast fungus relies on normal melanin formation in its infection structure.
2. Reductase inhibition: Tricyclazole interferes with the reductase step of fungal melanin biosynthesis, giving it the FRAC description MBI-R.
3. Penetration is impaired: disruption of this pathway reduces the pathogen's ability to form a normally functioning penetration structure and establish infection.

FRAC recommends preventive positioning within an anti-resistance program. Switching from Bindass to another Tricyclazole 75% WP brand does not rotate the mode of action because both products remain Group 16.1.

PHI is the minimum interval between the last application and harvest. The per-acre row is HPM's published Bindass direction; the per-hectare row is the Government of India formulation record. Do not combine the rows or convert them into a universal tank dose. The current physical product label is the final authority.

• Confirm paddy, blast, the area rate, water volume and 30-day PHI on the current Bindass pack before use.
• Measure the treated area accurately. Calculate product and water from one complete label direction; do not estimate dose from pack size.
• As a wettable powder, Bindass must be handled carefully to avoid breathing dust. Follow the pack's mixing order, agitation, equipment and nozzle instructions.
• HPM states that Tricyclazole is rapidly absorbed by rice plants and moved towards leaf tips, and advises that rainfall one hour after application does not require an automatic repeat spray. Confirm that wording on the current pack before relying on it.
• No tank-mix, simultaneous-use or compatibility claim is made here. Apply any separately recommended program product only under its own current Indian label.
• Wear every item of personal protective equipment stated on the current label. Avoid skin, eye and inhalation exposure; wash after handling and keep food, drink and tobacco away from the work area.
• Prevent product, spray liquid, equipment washings and packaging from entering ponds, drains, waterways or aquaculture areas. Store in the original closed pack away from food, feed, medicines, children and animals.

Bindass and all other Tricyclazole 75% WP products share FRAC Group 16.1. A brand change alone is not a resistance rotation. When another fungicide treatment is justified, choose a separately applied product from a genuinely different FRAC group only when that product's own current Indian label covers paddy blast. Follow each label's individual rate, water, timing, maximum-use limit and PHI.
