1. Melanin-pathway targeting: the rice blast fungus depends on normal melanin formation in its infection structure.
2. Reductase inhibition: Tricyclazole interferes with the reductase step in fungal melanin biosynthesis, which is why FRAC calls it an MBI-R fungicide.
3. Penetration is disrupted: impaired melanisation reduces the pathogen's ability to form a normally functioning penetration structure and establish infection.

FRAC recommends using Tricyclazole preventively within a program that includes fungicides from different classes. Products containing Tricyclazole 75% WP are same-group substitutes, not different-mode resistance rotations.

PHI means the minimum interval between the last application and harvest. The Government of India table does not state application timing, repeat interval, maximum spray count, nozzle or re-entry period for this row. Follow the current physical Beam label for those directions.

• Confirm paddy, blast, the hectare rate, 500 L/ha water volume and the 30-day PHI on the current physical Beam label before application.
